Sunday School for All Ages
At Union Grove United Methodist Church, our first mission is to nurture faith and fellowship through Sunday School for All. We offer engaging classes for every age group, creating a space to grow in understanding of God’s Word, deepen personal faith, and build meaningful connections within our church family. Whether you’re a child, youth, or adult, there’s a place for you to learn, share, and explore how to live out God’s teachings in everyday life. Bible Studies
Our Bible Studies offer an opportunity to deepen your understanding of God’s Word and its relevance to your daily life. Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is a integral part of our worship experience, offering the gift of music to glorify God and inspire our congregation. Open to all who love to sing, the choir welcomes participants of all skill levels to join in lifting their voices in praise. Through rehearsals, fellowship, and performances, we celebrate the joy of music and its ability to draw hearts closer to God. Come be part of a community that serves through song and enhances our worship with beautiful, spirit-filled music.
Memorial Ringers Handbell Choir
The Memorial Ringers Handbell Choir brings a unique and beautiful sound to our worship services, enriching our praise with the artistry of handbells. Open to individuals of all skill levels, the choir offers an opportunity to learn, grow, and serve through music. Together, we create joyful and reverent melodies that enhance the spiritual experience for our congregation. Join us in ringing out God’s love and sharing the gift of music in a meaningful way.
Chapel Bells
The Chapel Bells Ministry invites upper elementary students to join our youth handbell choir! Learn the art of playing handbells while making joyful music together. We practice every Sunday at 9:45 AM, just before Sunday school. It’s a fun and meaningful way to grow in faith, teamwork, and music skills. Come ring with us!
United Methodist Men
United Methodist Men is a fellowship dedicated to spiritual growth, service, and community impact. Through Bible study, mission projects, and shared activities, we encourage men to deepen their faith, support one another, and serve as Christ’s hands and feet in the world. Together, we strive to make a meaningful difference in our church, community, and beyond, living out our calling with purpose and devotion.
United Women in Faith
United Women in Faith is a vibrant community of women committed to spiritual growth, fellowship, and service. Through prayer, study, and mission work, we empower women to deepen their faith and make a positive impact in our church, community, and the world. Together, we support one another, nurture our spiritual gifts, and work to transform lives with God’s love and grace. Join us as we grow in faith and serve with purpose.
Lay Shepard Program
Our Lay Shepherd Program fosters a strong sense of community by ensuring every member has a dedicated lay shepherd. These caring individuals provide spiritual support, encouragement, and connection, helping to nurture relationships within our congregation. Through regular check-ins, prayer, and shared fellowship, the program ensures no one walks their faith journey alone. It’s a meaningful way to care for one another and grow together as the body of Christ.
Veteran's and Community Market
Union Grove’s Veterans and Community Market provides fresh food and essentials to those in need, serving our community and honoring our veterans. Held twice a month, this mission reflects Christ’s love through generosity and care, offering support and nourishment to individuals and families. It’s more than a market—it’s a place of connection, hope, and service, where we work together to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Sonshiners
Our Sonshiners program is a monthly gathering for senior citizens in our community, offering fellowship, fun, and a delicious lunch. This mission provides a welcoming space where seniors can connect, share stories, and enjoy uplifting activities in a caring environment. Through this program, we celebrate the wisdom and joy of our senior members while building a sense of belonging and community.
Gab & Gobble
Gab & Gobble is a monthly gathering where church and community members come together to enjoy a meal and fellowship. It’s a time to share delicious food, engage in meaningful conversations, and strengthen connections in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. This mission reflects our commitment to building relationships and celebrating the joy of community.
Methodist Meals
Union Grove’s Methodist Meals ministry brings nourishment and care to shut-ins by delivering home-cooked meals with a personal touch. This mission ensures that those unable to leave their homes feel supported and connected to our church family. Through food and friendly visits, we share Christ’s love and remind our shut-ins that they are valued and never alone.
Girl Scouts
We proudly support the Girl Scouts, providing a space for young girls to grow in leadership, character, and service. Through activities, community projects, and mentorship, this mission empowers girls to develop skills, build confidence, and make a positive impact. Together, we nurture future leaders while promoting values that align with faith and community service.
